During the Procedure

Your colonoscopy is typically performed under sedation to ensure comfort. Most procedures take approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

After the Procedure

Patients recover in our monitored recovery area before being discharged home the same day. Most individuals can resume normal activities within 24 hours.

If polyps are identified during the procedure, they can often be removed immediately for further evaluation.
